DEBUTS:

BigXThaPlug pisses me off. He had a generational run with an incredible album last year, titled TAKE CARE, and one of my favorite songs, The Largest. Immediately after hitting the Hot 100, he took the road once less traveled with a Bailey Zimmerman collab, called All The Way. It’s not the worst off his new project, I Hope You’re Happy (trust me there are some real shitty tracks over there), but it still doesn't work. The verses are ok, subpar for X's standards, and Bailey does an alright job on the chorus, but overall it's a cranky mess that wouldn't go anywhere if GP's taste wasn't dog ass. 

AJR surprises with their best song to date. It seems they've taken the overwhelming criticism to heart and worked on something interesting for a change. The auctioneer premise is very creative and the production does a nice job. 

These slow ass motherfuckers finally got up and put this R&B classic on the countdown. Victorious star Leon Thomas gets his track MUTT onto the countdown after a long wait. The production is silky, his voice is incredible, and it was perfect for the summer until it debuted in the fall. Next, PLEASE make NOT FAIR into a hit, I'm BEGGING.

DEBUTS:

Instead of going for the obvious smash hit of Take Me Dancing, or even AAAHH MEN!, Doja goes with Gorgeous. It's a good song, don't get me wrong. The chorus is incredible, however the verses leave me wanting more. It might grow on me, but for now it's a bit underwhelming.

5 Seconds Of Summer went for the Gorillaz influence with their comeback track NOT OK. It works perfectly, though I do wish they screamed at the bridge.

Alessi Rose is back with more forgettable songs. This one's called First Original Thought, which goes for more of a Sabrina approach rather than Taylor's, and it still doesn't work. Just move on already.

Tate McGOAT IS BACK, EVERYONE REJOICES! TIT FOR TAT goes in on The Kid LAROI on the track, and the trap infused production caught flack from others but I think it works here. And, it just gave Tate her biggest debut on Spotify, so I fucking won, good game.

REASONING:

As mentioned prior, TIT FOR TAT had a huge streaming debut and a look at the top 10 on Billboard. 

Gorgeous will probably debut to compensate for Jealous Type's flop.

Happen to Me currently has 18 spins and is rising.
