DEBUTS:

Sienna Spiro crowns her place as HITS 1's One to Watch with Die On This Hill. They might not be too far off, with the song in question recently breaking through the top 10 in the UK. I think its nothing remarkable, but the beautiful vocals and instrumentation puts it a solid place. However, I do think a better artist like RAYE could've given this song way more justice than Sienna's attempt.

The lesser third of the Jonas Brothers, Kevin Jonas, finally makes his solo debut with Changing. Probably the best Jonas-related song released this year, with the chorus being the most sound of them all. The verses are nothing to write home about, but its solid for the adult contemporary stations until 2026, where hopefully we'll actually get some hits.

HITBOUND:

Lewis Capaldi - The Day That I Die (3)
Olivia Dean - So Easy (To Fall In Love) (2)
Charli xcx - Chains of Love (3)
Katy Perry - bandaids (4)
Kevin Jonas - Changing (SB)
Jackson Wang - Made Me A Man (6)
Tyla - CHANEL (NEW)
Tate McRae - NOBODY'S GIRL (2)
The Kid LAROI - A PERFECT WORLD (2)
MAX and Andy Grammer - The Thing I Love (3)
Alessi Rose - Get Around (4)
Tyler, The Creator - Sugar On My Tongue (9)
5 Seconds Of Summer - Everyone's A Star! (3)
In Color - Headlights (6)
Jessie Murph - I Stay I Leave I Love I Lose (3)
Tame Impala - Dracula (4)

DEBUTS:

This week's a bad example, but for future reference, in weeks with two or more entrants, I will only cover the best and worst of the week. This is to avoid burnout and talking about songs I have no interest in. It's better to write and read.

Tyla comes through with her 3rd hit, possibly her biggest, CHANEL. As an avid Twitter user, I've been hearing this everywhere. Truthfully, I don't find it too bad. The song's repetitive as hell, but if you're gonna repeat a line, "How you say you love me? You ain't put me in chanel," isn't a terrible choice. The verses and production are cool, so I wouldn't mind it making a debut.

PREDICTIONS:

MAX and Andy Grammer - The Thing I Love
Tyla - CHANEL
Benson Boone - Mr. Electric Blue

REASONING:

The Thing I Love currently has 22 real spins on HITS 1.

CHANEL is viral on TikTok and currently is #38 on global Spotify, so a radio impact date is inbound.

Mr. Electric Blue is #32 on Top 40 radio, and also has 11 spins on HITS 1.

That's all for now, take care.
