DEBUTS:

Ed Sheeran debuts his 4th single off Play, A Little More. This might be one of the best songs in his entire discography, which I realize is a really low bar as the only good songs are Don't, Castle On The Hill, and Sing, but whatever. He slides over the jazz production like butter, and his vocals are pretty nice. Let's hope he keeps going in this direction.

Charli xcx reenters with party 4 u. This song is incredible, with the electronic production throughout and her auto tune which scratches my head as a lover of experimental music. Maybe Charli will release new music this year, but if she doesn't, I'm fine with leaving it at this.

HITBOUND:

Russell Dickerson - Happen to Me (3)
Maroon 5 and Lil Wayne - Love Is Like (NEW)
Maeve - (We're Not) Together!!!! (2)
Conan Gray - Caramel (NEW)
Jonas Brothers and Dean Lewis - Loved You Better (2)
Marshmello and Jelly Roll - Holy Water (2)
Claire Rosinkranz - Dancer (NEW)
Zara Larsson - Crush (NEW)
Haven Madison - Castle (8)
sombr - 12 to 12 (4)
Audrey Hobert - Thirst Trap (NEW)
Thomas Day - she got a thing about her (6)
Disco Lions and Tinashe - No Broke Boys (NEW)
Alessi Rose - Dumb Girl (4)
mgk - can't stay here (2)
Crash Adams - New Heart (4) genuinely one of the worst songs of the year

DEBUTS:

Maroon 5 released their new album Love Is Like to little critical and commercial acclaim. The album track is here alongside a feature from Lil Wayne, who really just needs to retire at this point. This motherfucker rhymed you with you, wrap this shit up. Adam Levine doesn't do too bad, and carries the song throughout.

Conan Gray, off the heels of making his best album yet, releases the album single, Caramel. Incredible production, vocals, great all around.

Who? releases her new song Dancer. Very forgettable song, nice production though.

Zara Larsson releases Crush, which puts Katy Perry to shame. The song doesn't sound like much in the beginning, but the bridge and outro really pick up the song.

I couldn't tell you a single thing from Thirst Trap. Albumoftheyear.org says that its good, so I'm just gonna agree with them.

Disco Lions and Tinashe get their viral remix to HITBOUND, No Broke Boys. The original is still better, but for a club remix, this could be way worse. Good production, but not really that special.

PREDICTIONS:

Maroon 5 and Lil Wayne - Love Is Like (NEW)
Disco Lions and Tinashe - No Broke Boys (NEW)
Demi Lovato - Fast
PinkPantheress - Illegal
KPop Demon Hunters Cast - Soda Pop (NEW)

Love Is Like might branch over thanks to Maroon 5's takeover.
No Broke Boys impacted US Pop Radio about a week ago.
Soda Pop currently has 18 plays and is rising.

That's all for now, take care.
